DESCRIPTION:
Join two authors: Ashley Shult Langdon (author of Mildly Scenic) and Felicia Leo Kemp (Moon Northern California Hiking) in collaboration with the Sacramento Women Hikers in the Sacramento area, for a guided 3-mile hike within River Bend Park.
The trail (adventure 10D in Mildly Scenic) will take you through the shady network of trails along the river’s edge as well as through the center of the roughly 400 acres of remote protected land adjacent to the Lower American River. Terrain is flat, but uneven. Sturdy walking shoes recommended.
LOCATION:
2300 Rod Beaudry Drive, Sacramento 95827
From Hwy 50, take the Bradshaw exit and turn right onto Folsom Blvd., then turn left on Rod Beaudry Drive and follow it into the park.

If you are coming from the north side of the river (Arden) you can park at William B Pond River Access and cross the bridge to meet us!
